United Hatzalah, founded in Israel in 2006 by Eli Beer, is the leading volunteer emergency medical response network in the world.

When emergencies occur, rapid medical treatment increases the chances of survival exponentially. With the help of our innovative GPS-based technology and our iconic ambucycles, United Hatzalah responds to more than 2,000 calls every day. Our network of 7,000 volunteer medics, made up of ordinary citizens—men and women, Jews, Muslims, Christians and Druze—delivers critical lifesaving support within 3 minutes or less anywhere in Israel.

United Hatzalah provides care to anyone who needs it, regardless of race, religion or national origin. Our humanitarian services are free, universal and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. While our mission is firmly focused on Israel, United Hatzalah is renowned for racing to disaster sites across the world, from Ukraine to Morocco to Haiti. We are now responding to one of our own.

United Hatzalah Israel is a charitable organization and does not receive government funding. To generate outreach and fundraising support, we have built a global organization with offices in Canada, the U.S., France and the UK. The Canadian office launched in 2014 with the goal of spreading the message and supporting the mission of United Hatzalah.
